Schwab Charitable was founded by Charles Schwab & Co. and while it operates as an independent charity, it is closely affiliated with and enjoys the support of Charles Schwab & Co, including contractual agreements to provide a variety of services. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co. and will be subject to its human resources and risk policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to Schwab Charitable for day-to-day activities.

Our opportunity:

We are seeking a BSA to lead various systems supporting the employee experience including internal/external and 3rd party platforms & applications. This role will be multi-focused requiring an individual capable of driving tech advancements in multiple systems. Initially this role will lead initiatives in Grant automation which may include Donor Center under Schwab.com umbrella, Salesforce Financial Service Cloud with enhancements, and/or within Alternative Investments

What you have

  • Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team within an interactive process and an Agile development methodology.

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations to tell a compelling story; experience providing frequent updates to stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly research and assess enterprise systems, processes, and capabilities, with a focus on identifying structural issues/inefficiencies, functional interdependencies, and cross-enterprise redundancies.

  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly synthesize disconnected documentation and artifacts and employ frameworks or other organizing principles to demonstrate their collective relevance to the organization or a specific opportunity.

  • Extensive experience in creating and evolving visual models such as flow charts, business capability maps, process diagrams, journey maps, and story maps.

  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document/data analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business

  • 8+ years agile and digital product experience with implementing new strategies and methods for improving delivery and achieving results.

What You'll Do:

  • This role will analyze business needs, document requirements (write stories in Jira) and translate them into systems specifications that our technology teams can then implement. This role is critical in ensuring that technology initiatives align with business strategies and drive performance & productivity.

  • Communicate Product changes broadly to the organization and plan the change management for features impacting current workflows.

  • Documenting current state technology, business process flows and requirements.

  • Scale Grant Automation system- Optimize grant management technology by re-engineering processes to achieve org demands for processing grants at scale.

  • Optimize Salesforce FSC system – work proactively with Salesforce partners and PM to identify opportunities for system enhancements.

  • You will define new or existing systems and processes aligned to the product scope, and work with fellow Product Managers to determine any resulting effort and timelines associated to these findings.

  • You will be an active member of a development team, presenting and explaining requirements, while fielding questions and assisting in resolving issues

  • You will contribute to a product backlog and actively track development to ensure the service is built to specifications while leading integration discussions with potential partners.

  • You will focus on business impact and develop actionable recommendations informed by high quality data analysis and metrics.

In addition to the salary range, this position is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
