Duties : Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Collaborate with high-performing team of reliability engineers who support critical systems and applications across lower environments including development, QA, UAT, and finally handing off to production support. Involved in all aspects of the SDLC from designing build pipelines, to supporting AWS cloud environment. Identify monitoring needs and to create suitable runbooks, as well as work closely with business partners, development teams, infrastructure teams, and colleagues across the organization. Improve products, processes, and user experiences by leveraging innovative IT solutions which supports the modern vision of DevOps culture. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and drive positive change. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $145,655 to $160,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related and 60 months of experience in a related occupation or a Master's degree and 36 months of experience.

Experience must include the following: Create IaC using Terraform; Create CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo; Manage database tables and schema for MS SQL Server; Create, manage, and supporting docker containers using Docker Commands; Work on Public Cloud Platform, AWS and its services including VPC, IAM Policies, Batch, DNS, and Lambda; Write BASH & Python Scripts with AWS CLI commands; Analyze app dev requirements, cloud SRE restrictions, cloud security limitations, technologies available, tools available, automation, and evaluate alternative solutions.
