TEKsystems Business Development Specialist - Credit Union Or Banking Experience Needed in Westminster, California

We’d like to welcome a Business Development Specialist who is an expert in making connections and can take initiative on building the brand in the local community. This position is responsible for increasing awareness of the business in the community by recruiting, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with local school, college, and business groups while providing ongoing training and financial education, and relationship-building with their employees.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITES

Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, this position takes a strong public relations role, is comfortable and skilled at public speaking, and can represent the Credit Union well in the community. This role is responsible for growing new Memberships and accounts at the Credit Union by scheduling and participating in events and on-sites with local school, business, and community groups. Building relationships and offering Credit Union benefits to new groups and markets is also a part of the responsibility. LBS Financial’s Business Development Specialist should have a strong understanding of financial products and services and financial education to be able to develop and deliver seminars and webinars to employees of our employer groups.

Being an expert at developing and cultivating successful relationships with key contacts at our groups is a critical aspect of this role. Consistent contact and follow up with groups, tracking and monitoring relationships by managing internal lists, sending consistent emails, making phone calls, and in-person visits to contacts are all part of the day-to-day of this position.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

3-5 years of proven sales/account relationship experience.

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent ex

Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

Valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
