West Virginia Employer Facility Set Up Attendant in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia

Position:Facilities Set-Up Department:Facilities Set-Up. Date Updated: 07/16/21 Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.) The setting up and removal of various meeting room sets Clothing, skirting and chairing up of tables Setting up water stations, note pads and pencils Making changes to room sets on short notice Moving pianos Setting up staging and placing of easels Working in a safe manner Meeting with group contacts and dispersing information received regarding set-ups Secondary Responsibilities: Communicating through a two-way radio Placing equipment in the proper storage areas Maintenance of equipment Normal Working Hours: (Shift, days) Day shift and night shift- Shift time and days off varies depending on business In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria in addition to the Ten Essential Attributes for All Employees. Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.) Hospitality experience preferred Ability to work independently Public contact Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study) High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents) Able to listen and speak well Strong communication skills-communicate in a positive and confident manner Professional and polite Takes direction easily Technical Requirements: Organizational skills Knowledge of measurement Ability to multi task Attention to detail Reliability Good mathematical skills Reading Comprehension Valid drivers license
