UW - WHITEWATER Lecturer-Geosciences in WHITEWATER, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job ID: 20884 ATTENTION: The College of Integrated Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Rock County Campus seeks an instructor for three fall 2024 geography courses (Lecturer, TL020). This will be a fixed-term appointment. Reappointment for subsequent terms is dependent upon the needs of the University, funding, staffing requirements, and external forces. JOB DETAILS: The instructor would be responsible for the following fall 2024 geography courses: Physical Geography (an intro Phys Geog 5 credit Nat Sci/Lab Sci) GEO 125 - Physical Geography, face-2-face format with lecture and labs on M and W Environmental Sustainability GEO 130 - Environmental Sustainability, lecture format. Disasters, Living on the Edge (an intro Natural Disasters course, 3 credit Nat Sci). GEO-GLG 170 - Disasters, Living on the Edge, remote format, some flexibility by instructor Also, hold appropriate office hours, attend orientation activities, perform required course administration including - syllabus, grading, and reporting tasks.
