Where do you fit?

To be a successful Intakeand Admissions Coordinator you must become able to do the following always:

  1. Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery.
  2. Maintain or grow in required competency level for position.
  3. Provide quality customer service to all internal and external customers (via phone calls, e-mail, etc.)
  4. Gather all necessary referral and payment information from customers seeking services.
  5. Work proficiently in the agencys electronic client care record.
  6. Identify and offer appropriate placement options to requesting customers.
  7. Make initial contact for foster parent inquiries and enter the foster parent profile in the agencys electronic client care record system.
  8. Provide data entry support including accurately inputting, uploading, and reconciling required data into the electronic client record system.
  9. Provide on-call support.
  10. Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Companys Program Practice Guidelines.
  11. Meet department goals and advance within competencies

  • 55% Identifying & Offering Placement Options
  • 20% Data Entry & Reconciliation
  • 15% Gathering Referral Information
  • 5% On-Call Support
  • 5% Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  1. Bachelors degree in social work or related field preferred. High School Diploma/GED Required.
  2. License with the KS BSRB preferred.
  3. Prior work experience in child welfare services preferred.
  4. Ability to travel, driving agency or personal vehicle including at night.
  5. Ability to do occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  6. Able to walk upstairs.
  7. Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Employee subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
