DESCRIPTION OF WORK This is an administrative position within the Area Agency on Aging that is responsible for assisting the Administrator 3 in directing a large social service program, and in the development and implementation of agency policies and procedures within Luzerne and Wyoming Counties. In addition, you assist in planning, developing, and implementing a comprehensive annual plan and budget to achieve the agency goals and objectives.

Also, you monitor and direct contracted services to ensure program effectiveness and conformance with federal, state, and local regulations and policies. Other responsibilities include but not limited to planning, reviewing, and evaluating performances of program supervisors and administrative staff as well as attending PA Department of Aging meeting and trainings.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three (3) years of professional experience in a human services program, either in an administrative capacity or in providing social services to clients, including one (1) year of supervisory experience and a Bachelor's Degree;or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
