Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to perform a variety of patient care tasks including patient intake, medical history documentation, vital signs measurement, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and assisting physicians with procedures. Responsibilities also include managing temperature logs, QA processes, adhering to OSHA policies, completing pharmaceutical authorizations, and engaging in phone triage. The role requires setting up, cleaning, and stocking exam rooms, as well as inputting patient lab and radiology orders electronically.

Hard Skills

• Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant

• Experience with patient triage and intake

• Experience with electronic health records

• Phlebotomy

• EKG performance

• Medicare Annual Wellness Visits

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Attention to detail

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The medical assistant will be part of a dynamic team including 2 providers, 1 Physician Assistant, and 2 Nurse Practitioners, handling a patient volume of 80-100 per day. The environment emphasizes teamwork, and no medical assistant is exclusively assigned to one doctor.
