Job summary This position will involve the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of various automated control, instrumentation, and SCADA systems. Coordinate and complete customer requests daily while establishing a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical / electronic equipment.
- Perform on-site installation of electrical / electronic equipment and associated devices.
- Use various electronic equipment and tools including pump off controllers (POCs), variable speed drives (VSDs), a variety of digital and analog instrumentation, multi-meters, amperage meters, meggers, and oscilloscopes.
- Recognize and assess a variety of well optimization issues and correct as needed.
- Work with other business entities.
- Acts as 1st level troubleshooting support of automation and communication issues and call out support.
- Complies with all the Companys Safety and Environmental policies, practices, and programs. Takes corrective action within training limitations. Escalates as necessary.
- Participates in and adheres to all training programs designed to enhance HSE knowledge, safety standards, and improve job performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
