Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a HVAC Sales Representative located in our Williston, Vermont location. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities

As a Sales Representative, you will:

  • Work hand-in-hand with Outside Sales associates by performing the administrative functions that ensure our customer’s needs are being met.

  • Support the Outside Sales team by ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate order processing.

  • Updating customer contracts, coordinate deliveries with the warehouse, and answer sales calls for general information.

Qualifications

  • Prior HVAC experience or previous business consultant/Sales experience is preferred. A successful associate will be goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines, build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere, in addition to having the following:

  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills

  • Engaging personality for phone sales

  • Can -do attitude, can overcome objections

  • Develop strong working relationships within all levels of existing customers through consultative sales approach.

  • Work closely with Field Sales Manager to develop new customer base and increase upsell opportunities with existing customers for maximum growth

  • Plan and forecast for territory growth

  • Prospect, conduct professional/intentional sales calls and follow-up

  • Manage opportunity tracking and reporting

  • Educate customers/prospects about company products and offerings

  • Act as a Business consultant for customers

  • Understand territory competition

  • Promote and facilitate Business, Sales & Technical Training for customers

  • Responsible for meeting sales and profit targets

  • Responsible for the timely resolution of customer requests

  • Support the company’s credit and collection efforts by working closely with customers to resolve issues and facilitate the timely collection of receivables due

  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction with a high level of responsiveness to all client inquiries

  • Ambition to succeed

  • Ability to learn quickly

This is a commission eligible role. The estimated total compensation range is $80,000 - $120,00+ annually.
