Job Description

Our client is seeking to add an enthusiastic Director to take over the daily operations of their Daycare Center in Wilmington, DE. Daily responsibilities will include:

• Managing a staff of 17-20

• Scheduling

• Interacting with parents of daycare members

• Assisting with annual licensing process. Prepare for this and be fully aware/educated on all Early Childhood Education licenses needed

• Assist with hiring staff members, including teachers, counselors, etc

• Marketing initiatives to get enrollment rate up - Facebook groups, online flyers, email lists, etc.

• Summer camp (June-August) - daily activities, trips and all innerworkings

Skills and Requirements

• Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related area of Child Development

• 2+ years experience as Associate Director or Director in a child care or school

• Excellent communication skills both internally and externally

• Experience managing staff members - Director of a Child Care or Daycare Center null
