POSITION SUMMARY

The Staff Accountant supports the accounting functions for the TLD factories in Windsor, CT. These functions include hands-on participation in the month-end financial close, managing inventory transactions, Accounts Payable accrual reconciliations, and supplying the Executive Team with the analysis used in decision making. The best candidate for the Staff Accountant position would have a strong foundation in accounting, the ability to pull data from multiple sources and provide analysis on this data. As Staff Accountant, the candidate needs to have strong attention to detail and consideration for deadlines. This individual will support the TLD ACE Chief Operating Officers and will report to TLD ACE Controller.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Coordination of the daily cycle count process

· Monthly sales margin reporting

· Assist with creation of monthly financial statements

· Perform detailed account reconciliations (i.e. Bank Reconciliations)

· Be a key user in the ERP system (Infor LN)

· Assist with semi-annual financial audits

· Develop relationships with business units to expedite workflow and ensure appropriate accounting treatment

· Other assignments as designated by their manager(s)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field of study required

· 2 years experience in a similar position or as an accountant in an industrial division in the business-to-business sector

· Experience with ERP systems (Infor LN a plus)

· Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Excel and Outlook
