DJ's Clothing Warehouse Retail Sales Associate in Winona, Minnesota
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Engages guests by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Recommends items for sale to guests and recommends companion items. Provides guests with courteous, friendly and accurate checkout service. Correctly records all sales transactions while operating the cash register. Maintains security of all cash. Counts cash register contents and does deposit and sales report, if closing the store. Processes returns, store credits, and exchanges as needed. Processes new shipments for placement on the sales floor. Assists in completing in-store price changes including regular price, clearance and sales price changes. Says thank you after every guest interaction and ensure that every guest leaves satisfied with their shopping experience. Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers and supervisor, including being present for scheduled hours. Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise. Completes resets and revisions as directed. Stocks supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest. Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.(Includes mopping, dusting, emptying trash, washing windows.) Maintains store readiness standards by keeping sales floor clean, including counters, shelves, display rack tops and bottoms, and mop boards. Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned. Works in a safe manner.
