We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist with Accounting Functions. This hybrid role requires the candidate to manage front desk responsibilities while also handling various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and an aptitude for numbers.

salary: $18 - $18.5 per hour

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist with Accounting Functions. This hybrid role requires the candidate to manage front desk responsibilities while also handling various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong aptitude for numbers.

Key Responsibilities

Receptionist Duties:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members.

  • Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference calls.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

Accounting Functions:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with monthly reconciliations.

  • Prepare and submit invoices, ensuring timely payments.

  • Assist with payroll processing and related record-keeping.

  • Help with the preparation of financial reports and summaries.

  • Support the finance team with audits and other accounting projects

Skills

  • Bookkeeping (2 years of experience is required)

  • QuickBooks (2 years of experience is required)

  • Scheduling Appointments (2 years of experience is required)

  • Microsoft Office (2 years of experience is required)

  • Excel (2 years of experience is required)

  • Administrative Duties (2 years of experience is required)

  • Receptionist Duties (2 years of experience is required)
