SMT Engineering Technician
Looking for an established manufacturing Professional to program and operate equipment on SMT prototype line. Great opportunity to grow, cross train, and expand skills. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing component installation. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to drawing specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
Program, Operate and troubleshoot issues with the following: Fuji NXT, other SMT equipment, printing equipment, SPI, conveyers and reflow machines.
Familiarity with Reflow Ovens. Ability to create a profile and also profile an oven
Set up equipment and feeders, run assembly line, as needed.
Read and interpret assembly documents including BOM, drawings, schematics, and instructions.
Verify placed components on the board for their alignment, polarities, description, and part numbers. Read / verify the values of the part.
Verify quality of solder workmanship
Responsible for SMT inventory
Provide on-the-job training to new employees
Hands on, Cooperative, Team Player, and Positive Attitude is a Must
Intermediate computer skills
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with the following:
SMT Technician
Fuji NXT or Similar
Fuji Flexa Software for Programing
Screen printers and reflow systems
Hardware/ Mechanical background for maintenance, troubleshooting and optimum performance.
Good written and oral communication

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $28.65 - $50.05 per hour . Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
