Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Lead Director, Data Engineering to plan, direct, and coordinate activities for data engineering teams. Duties include: direct daily data engineering operations across the enterprise, analyze workflow, establish priorities, and develop standards; apply analytical rigor and advanced statistical methods to the analysis of large amounts of data from PBM, specialty, retail, and/or healthcare business; lead a team of data engineers and data scientists designing and delivering analytics projects and experiments that inform solutions for in-house teams (i.e., pharmacy pricing, medical costs, risk scores, onboarding) and customer engagement across critical journeys (i.e., calories, heart rate, breast cancer, maternity); manage large and complex analytical projects from data exploration, model building, performance evaluation and testing to evaluate scenarios, predict outcomes, and provide usable information on health metrics and potential future outcomes; identify evolving business needs that can be addressed with advanced analytics and translate analytics into business value; present analytics results and compelling business insights to executives; review project plans and coordinate project activity; and assign and review the work of data engineers and mentor junior team members. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with each of the following: creation of mobile dashboards, visual insight dashboards, reports, and score cards; ETL architecture and design including data modeling from multiple operational data sources; end-to-end business intelligence application development with Waterfall and Agile methodologies; SQL Server and Oracle; Teradata; PowerBI, QlikView, and QlikSense; and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Requires three (3) years of experience with each of the following: Azure, GCP, and Snowflake; AWS data lakes; Tableau; and Python programming. Telecommuting available. Pay Range: $184309.00/year to $280000.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
