CareWell Urgent Care Regional Manager in Worcester, Massachusetts
CareWell is seeking a dynamic Regional Manager to manage our state-of-the-art urgent care facilities with the assigned region. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary: The Regional Manager provides strategic direction and oversite of Urgent Care centers within a stated geographic region. The purpose of this position is to translate the company objectives into action items to drive the strategic operations. Offer direction and guidance to the Practice Managers within the region and assign key performance indicators to ensure success and accountability of the Urgent Care centers. Skills and Key Competencies:
General understanding of the business principles behind the daily operations of Urgent Care centers within a region
General aptitude for providing input to business decisions as it relates to multiple Urgent Care centers
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to lead and provide direction to a small group of leaders
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills (written and oral)
Enjoys solving problems and recommending solutions
Maintains confidentiality at the highest level
Works well with others and is committed to teamwork
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or equivalent is preferred
5-10 years of experience being a leader of leaders
Equivalent managerial role in a supervisory capacity, such as: Regional Lead or Practice Manager
Clinical background as a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic, or Radiologic Technologist preferred
Supervisory Responsibility:
The Regional Manager is the leader to all Practice Managers and the day-to-day operations of the Urgent Care centers in the assigned region and oversees all clinical (non-provider) staff in assigned region.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a medical office setting and includes possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medical preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.
Physical Demands:
Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time salary exempt position, with the expectation of working at minimum (40) hours per week and being present in multiple Urgent Care centers each week as the business needs require.
Travel:
Travel within a 50-100 mile radius is expected for this position that may include responsibilities assigned at other CareWell and/or ClearChoiceMD centers for open leadership responsibilities/role, for training, center support and/or other such meetings for this position.
