Your Role

Your role is vital to the successful definition, design, delivery, and support of IT projects in KN. You define the architecture of a computerized system in order to fulfill requirements set by ordering stakeholder(s). You analyze and recommend a breakdown of the system into components, their interactions and interfaces, the right combination of technologies and resources to achieve given business or functional goal.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements.

• Participate actively in design and implementation activities of a software development team.

• Organize processes in the Stream to ensure technical quality of implemented solutions (like reviews of both functional and technical designs and code).

• Keep the overall (application) architecture in focus.

• Be accountable for functional and technical decisions.

• Make sure that conventions and quality standards are adhered to.

• Define development guidelines and compliance monitoring, for example in terms of "Clean Code".

• Support compliance with set processes (quality, stand-ups etc.).

• Participateactively in knowledge transfer between architects from other streams.

Your Skills and Experiences

• A degree in computer science or equivalent education.

• Several years of experience with software development in Java.

• Extensive experience in designing object-oriented software.

• Good overview knowledge about established technologies and current trends.

• Experience with agile software development practices.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Flexible to meet customer requests and deadlines.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Goodin communication with other team members.
