Job Summary

The newly established role is designed to take on the responsibility of the control preparer for SOX control on Transit Time Verification and Calculation. This position assumes operational accountability for ensuring the timely and accurate calculation of transit time delay factors. The role involves not only maintaining of a clear audit trial of calculations performed in spreadsheets but also providing comprehensive documentation, including enhanced procedures, to reconcile base data used in calculations with source information.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all communication.

  • Supporting TRIC operations (excluding administration).

  • Compiling necessary screenshot evidence and archiving all approvals.

  • The selected candidate will act as the operational contact, under the supervision of the control owner, to assist in addressing audit queries.

  • Conducts comprehensive financial analysis for specific functions or business units, providing valuable analytics to support key business initiatives.

  • Participates in cross-functional teams as a representative of the finance domain.

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.

  • Supports policy and process enhancement, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and organizational growth.

  • Solves difficult and complex problems with a fresh perspective, demonstrating good judgment in selecting creative solutions and managing projects independently.

  • Leads moderate to high complexity projects, delivering professionally written reports, and supports the realization of operational and strategic plans.

  • Provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level roles, thereby aiming to enhance individual as well as organizational performance.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent analytical skills to explain trends and variances in transit times.

  • Ability to efficiently simulate multiple scenarios, based on which transit time calculations policy approvals can be pursued and obtained from CFR and external auditors.

  • Ability to organize big volume of data to effectively support audit trail including detailed queries, starting from raw data through calculation formulas and logic to end results.

  • Excellent communication skills to present comprehensive story based on calculations and ability to address concerns from Finance, Audit and Business Partners (senior experts and managers level).

  • Strong skills in task prioritizing and delivering results under tight schedule and non-negotiable deadlines.

  • Excellent learning skills to acquire broad knowledge on Logistics and Supply Chain domains and dependencies towards Finance processes and policies.
