Boehringer Ingelheim Internship - Asset Accounting Team with English in Wrocław, Poland

THE POSITION

If finance or accounting are in your area of interest, we can offer you a paid internship in the Asset Accounting Team in an international environment. You can take the opportunity to gain an insight into all the processes related to investments projects and fixed assets for Poland and EMEA region and actively accompany them.

The start time of our 6 months long paid internship program (contract of mandate) as well as the working hours can be flexibly adjusted to your availability.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Assist Asset Accounting Team in the process of CAPEX and Fixed Assets management throughout the month for countries from EMEA region

  • Support Asset Accounting Team in the month-end close activities

  • Assist in preparing periodic standard checks (e.g., closed cost center, not entered assets, assets under construction).

  • Prepare Capex and Fixed Assets reports

  • Gather data as needed to respond to notices and audits

  • Develop tools and excel files to support the daily operations

About our future Intern

You should speak English language (min. B2) and have the willingness to learn on the job.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Students or graduates in the field of economics, accounting, or finance

  • Proactivity with time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills with high level of reliability and confidentiality

  • Distinct empathy, team spirit and service-oriented mindset

  • Existing experience in a professional business environment, e.g., previous internships or relevant student work is a plus

  • Knowledge of MS Office (be expert in Excel is a plus)
