Emerson Project Engineer in Xi'an, China

Job Summary:

This role supports Power Plant DCS Project Implementation for Korea and Korea EPC projects.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Assist the project supervisor/manager to effectively implement of all projects assigned to the group.

  • Prepare and conduct Project related meetings such as Internal Kickoff Meetings, Customer Kickoff Meetings and Project Design Review Meetings.

  • Implement the responsible projects aligning with the company standard procedures.

  • Develop and perform Factory Acceptance Test Procedure.

  • Be responsible for field services activities, from System Startups to Commissioning and Site Acceptance.

  • Monitor the schedule performance and maintain an updated schedule at all time for the responsible projects.

  • Provide timely and accurate update to the project supervisor/manager on the project-related reports.

  • Update the project supervisor/manager weekly on their chargeable hours amount (weekly timesheet).

  • Prepare the project-related documents drawings for the responsible projects.

  • Assist project supervisor/manager to prepare an accurate estimate of cost timely.

  • Monitor and control the responsible project cost to improve the project gross margin or at least to maintain it as the booked value.

  • Achieve customer satisfaction on the responsible project implementation.

  • Deliver the contract commitments for the responsible projects.

  • Assist on training, software design and configuration.

  • Deliver and close the project as required by the project schedule.

  • Complete other job assigned by supervisor/manager.

Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Fluent in Korean or English (spoken and written) and must be a good communicator.

  • Bachelor degree of industrial Automation/Process control/Mechnical/Computer engineering.

  • 1-2 years engineering/service or technical support background.

  • Strong technical knowledge of process Automation products, Experience with Power Plant DCS system application is preferable.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Willing to take domestic and oversea travel, even at short notice for emergency services.

  • High degree of initiative and good communication skills.

  • Strong computer proficiency.

  • Capable and willing to work independently and handle multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
