Job Summary
The Support Specialist is accountable for providing clerical and administrative support to the facility Administrator and Department Supervisors.
Provides cashier, data input, record keeping, secretarial, clerical, receptionist, and other services for the facility’s business operations.
Supports the vision, mission, and philosophy statements of Avera Sacred Heart Hospital. Supports the Hospital’s goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting department goals.
Provides exceptional care and service to patients, residents, guests and fellow employees at all times.
Performs Benedictine heritage and its values of hospitality, respect for others, stewardship, dignity of work, stability, and justice.
Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives.
Education and/or Experience
Associated Degree Preferred.
Two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Certified Nurse Assistant Certification within 1 year of employment.
Work Schedule
8:00am-4:30pm, every third weekend, every third holiday; 80 hours 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.50 - $22.00 per hour
