Summary About the position: This position is located at the Outdoor Recreations, Yokota AB, Japan. This is Intermittent (Flexible) position, 0-40 hours a week. Responsibilities Performs and/or assists other recreation assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of indoor and/or outdoor pool and related recreational facilities. Types of duties include but are not limited to the following: Greets customers in person and provides customer service representative, answers inquiries directly and over the telephone; sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities; records attendance; takes reservations and completes related sales transaction for payment for activities; notifies participants of schedule changes; checks the established safety system of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and areas, equipment; posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers inquiries about scheduled activities; helps with group activities which require more than one staff monitor, performing specifically assigned tasks; and assists with related inventories and basic facility maintenance. Records and tracks related data in computer, preparing end of day reports. Transports daily reports and monies to central cashier and delivers and retrieves daily activity distribution. Maintains customer service, lobby, and exercise areas clean and free from clutter. Ensures information displays are fully stocked. Performs other related duties as assigned, to include participating in any PSS activities (Fourth of July and Friendship Festivals) as instructed. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
