The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sales aptitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role will involve building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and effectively presenting solutions to meet those needs.

This position requires the development and execution of East Region Aftermarket strategies leading to the sale of overhauls, new equipment and services consistent with Company business principles. The person must be willing to travel and develop new, as well as maintain existing business with the support of the assigned team. Knowledge of the rail industry is required. Should be able to communicate clearly and also be a good listener.

Responsibilities: Take ownership of all east coast service projects Creating Sales and Marketing strategies for North American Aftermarket of Voith and Non-Voith equipment Ensuring upkeep of Sales Force databases for all sales activity Assist in overdue invoice collection as requested by management Coordinate and ensure commercial and technical risk management Develop Overhaul and Upgrade Specifications for installed base Develop and maintain a strong relationship with all customers Manage and maintain oversight on campaigns and special projects Manage and Communicate clearly with members of the team globally Work closely with planning and operations on project planning and strong execution Ensure customer satisfaction through direct contact with Customer staff to fulfill quotes and service orders Coordinate with engineering (both local and abroad) on repair or service quote development Lead all internal activities required from peer departments to fulfill deadlines agreed with customers Provide a strong understanding of product knowledge Able to understand basic Contract review according to Voith requirements Focused and open to coordinating globally within the Voith organization Able to manage commercial and technical meetings with the customer Works with team members in the field including field service personnel Interact with team members internally, Logistics, Material Handling, Engineering and Production Planning on a daily basis

Qualifications: Minimum 4 year degree in related field. Five or more years of experience in the rail business in sales positions. Strong technical background and knowledge of equipment selection and system operating requirements in the rail field. Strong communication skills Ability to read and interpret scientific/technical drawings and documentation, commercial terms and conditions, and customer specifications Physical Demands: Employees in this position are regularly required to walk, stand and use hands to finger, handle or feel. They are frequently required o reach with hands and arms. They are occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear and regularly required to lift 10 pounds and occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. Safety glasses, hearing protection and other PPE are required in designated areas.
