Midwest Carpet Cleaning Carpet Cleaning Technician in Ypsilanti, Michigan
Midwest Carpet Cleaning, a Servis Group Company, is seeking Carpet Cleaning Technicians to become a part of our team! You will be responsible for carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning and carpet repairs at residential and commercial properties. This person will work on a carpet cleaning truck daily. Day and Evening positions are available, some on-call shifts (once every 2 weeks).

Hours average 30-40 hours during slow season and 40-50 per week during peak business season.
Hourly compensation up to $18.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience.
Carpet Cleaning Technicians Responsibilities:
- Provide quality carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning and related services to customers
- Responsible for cleanliness and care of Midwest Carpet Cleaning vehicle and equipment
- Productively and safely move furniture to prepare the home for cleaning
- Mix various cleaning solutions to clean carpets and remove stains
- Use truck mounted and portable carpet extraction equipment
- Identify and report possible repairs
- Account for and return all cleaning tools, hoses, chemicals, etc. to the truck before departure from the customer's home
- Provide customer with a receipt and secure payment for service
- Adhere to on-call policy
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Uphold all company policies and procedures
Carpet Cleaning Technicians Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience in commercial carpet cleaning, carpet repairs, or *other related fields *
- Able to move and/or lift 75 lbs. (avg.)
- Have valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record check.
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work well in teams
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
