Senior Manager, Export Market Operations

As Senior Manager, Export Market Operations , you will lead a cross functional team including customer service, supply chain and other functions to establish, measure and improve processes to provide service excellence for customers in these growth regions, while driving cost optimization. This position is within the Hologic EMEA Supply Chain organization and expected to drive and deliver best in class end to end solutions and management for export markets in EMEA.

• Accountable and responsible for developing and establishing best in class End-to-End OTC strategy and process for export markets in EMEA.

• Responsible for optimizing supply chain services and costs including internal / External SLAs where applicable, and external 3PL and distributor agreements

• Create, manage and measure the performance of all customer service, supply chain activities and KPIs from Sales forecast generation to order creation to successful customer delivery OTIF for these markets.

• Lead and manage key projects and initiatives within these emerging markets.

• Collaborate cross functionally within region and globally, to resolve operational challenges and develop process improvement.

• Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and activities to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness, resilience, and cost effectiveness of the organization, including materials planning, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport and distribution for these regions.

• Maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate performance with external suppliers, so the organization has a reliable supply of goods and services that meet its standards of quality, timeliness and cost, as well as future needs.

• Create, manage and support New Product Introduction.

• Partner with the commercial teams to support growth in sales and profitability.

• Drive continuous improvement by seeking opportunities for revising business processes to improve efficiency and cost optimization.

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with respective stakeholders within EMEA and Global Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory and other key functions.

• Identify learning areas and improve self-capabilities to enable organizational efficiencies as well self growth.

• Engagement with key customers and export business Directors to drive strong value add in customer delight. Identify, understand, improve customer experience, driving alignment on expectations. Set up clear KPIs to monitor and measure customer satisfaction.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• At least >7 years’ experience in leading positions end to end supply chain operations, design and management experience

• Relevant education degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering

• Experience with and in emerging markets

• Experience in Cold Chain and management of Supply Chain of highly regulated products

• Proficient in excel, experience using BI tools e.g. QlikView

• Conversant with ERP systems like Oracle / SAP

• Experience in Pharma, medical devices, food or regulated products supply chains

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Number of direct reports – 2, Number of indirect reports – 8

EXPECTED TRAVEL: Approximately 15%
